Jul 1, 2017 my thoughts on the non filler matches tonight Lethal vs Hangman Page ***1/4 Zack Sabre Jr vs Juice Robinson ***1/2 War machine vs G O D ***3/4 Naito vs Ishii ****1/4 Omega vs Elgin ****1/2 Okada vs Cody ****1/4 Sloppier than the ordinary NJPW show but still everyone brought that excellent NJPW brand of profesional wrestling and gave their all to put on a great showing for the company you know you're spoiled when a three match string like that is what you expect from NJPW
Jul 1, 2017 Chaos vs Bullet Club - 4.25 Naito/Ishii - 4.5 Omega/Elgin - 4.75 Okada/Cody - 4 War Machine/GoD - 3.5 WWE mark came around for the last few matches. Still thinks it's just ROH with some heat and nothing he hasn't seen before. Talk about missing the point. Tomorrow should be 2sweett!
Jul 1, 2017 Fantastic show. There was a noticeable sloppiness that you usually don't see as much of in NJPW but honestly I'm just nitpicking, this was a blast to watch and is a testament to how high the bar is set for New Japan right now. Can't wait for night 2

Jul 2, 2017 Dave said on today's show that ROH wants the champ to defend on their PPV's. With his Visa just getting cleared over the last few months, I gotta assume Omega's taking it. Ishii's not gonna be in that role and I think Dave mentioned ZSJ can't do it with his Evolve deal. Hoping for no bs. The Cody/Omega match already set in stone, no need to go overboard with it.
