    Another Omega/Ishii classic tonight
    :banderas:

    Ahhhhhhhhhh I'm so excited

They wouldn't do all these Ibushi/Ospreay tags if a match wasn't happening

    Edit

Yeah they did a stare down angle afterwards

Ishii/Omega was a little shakey through the first half of the match but was still excellent. Not one of my favorite of theirs but that rivalry has produced so many classics man

I thought they were on track for their best match until the last quarter of it. They did an exact strike exchange into the lariat that left Omega bleeding in the last match, thankfully didn't happen here but it's too soon and obv didn't have the same effect. Then as they were going into the finish it's big move after a V-Trigger from Omega, near fall, repeat. Ishii never got the heat again for what felt like that stretch from 25-30.

Thought for sure they were going 40 and from the reaction of the crowd, they were at least expecting it to go further based on how these matches usually go. Almost thought Ishii was gonna win with how much of the match Omega was taking.

Got it at 4.5. I can usually watch a four star match and love it, but with New Japan from the top guys I'd be lying if I said I wasn't slightly underwhelmed. We so spoiled.

Yeah it's an excellent match but with new Japan especially these two guys who I both think are top 5 in the world today and who imo have had one of the best series of matches against eachother ever I expected something truly special

I was wondering when you’d chime in lol. Thanks fam.
    :TddyLng1:

Also, Omega/Pentagon was awesome. Need to check out more of Pentagon for sure. Actually saw him at a comic convention once, didn’t know who he was or what lucha underground was at the time. Dude was swole as f---.

Some random promotion called Northeast Wrestling just booked Omega vs Fenix for early November. That match sounds better on paper than the Pentagon match.
