Jul 18, 2017I mean, I obviously love getting everything for free now but f---... I do miss the excitement of gathering all my money as a kid and going to the shop and deciding over albums and the mystery of whether it would be good and going through artists' discographies... I do kinda miss that.

I only buy the classics. So the most recent one I purchased was big fish theory obviously. Cd's also tend to have the best sound quality wise, better than aux and Bluetooth at leastOrdinary Joel, asvdawg, Sqrt Sqrt and 2 others like this.Nov 19, 2025(This ad goes away when signing up) -

Double post but I agree. This is also while I'll still burn cd's. I burn the cd then put the burned copy in my car. Therefore if someone does break into my car and grabs my cd booklet they got all the burned copies and not my originals. Also cd does sound louder and more crisp than aux I agree.
Mainly being for it to be half decent loud you have to turn your ipod/iphone's volume up. But in doing so for the auxillary cord it distorts the quality of sound. So if you want a half decent volume on a stock car you have to have your volume wheel at like 75% minimum and then pump your cars volume up for it to play a decent sound.
While in a CD it's just crisp.Ordinary Joel, BurlyDodger, Sign Language and 1 other person like this. -
