Good music is good music. Even the actual "gangsters" embellish their lifestyle in their music. It's really a non issue People copy trends. It's called marketing
Aug 9, 2017 He's not wrong. I mean in the 90's seeing a white rapper was polarizing and often times they weren't taken seriously (vanilla ice). The genre in general was more gritty and competitive. If you didn't hold a certain image, people would push you around and how you responded would determine your reputation & standing in genre. It was just a different time period. The genre now is defintley more accepting.
