    Why is it so hard to separate the artist from the art? John Lennon was a c---- but the Beatles are still one of the greatest bands ever, R. Kelly f---s kids but he still got hits on hits

    Someone being a punk or a bad person doesn't make them undeserving of an album of theirs being a classic. If it is then it is.

    he used 50 for classic hooks and free advertisement just to turn on him later for more promo, he didnt have respect for dre nor Em...ofc u can always make an argument he did since he said he still respected them despite what he did

    but actions speaks louder than words

    so the only artist i can think of is game

    So what if an athlete is the fastest at like 500 meter running or something but he's a douchebag, he still deserves the prize for his accomplishment no matter what

    I know I just used him as an example you described as 'people who didn't actually create the music themselves'.

    Personally I don't care about ghostwriters or whatever though as long as the final product is something I enjoy
