why in the world would how long you've been rapping impact how you're viewed? Either way Kendrick has been rapping for as long as lupe and you got him on there, you got some dumb rules

my point is that we don't know the full-extent of kendricks impact.

it's like ranking a president a year after their term. it's not really set in stone.

in 95 and 96, if you asked ppl the top best rappers of all time, theyd probably say rakim and krs. (not pac and big)

You're going off impact. Impact and being a good rapper have nothing to do with each other.

you need to include more rappers from recent times. Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Future and Young Thug have dominated the last 5 years and are allready more influential and more deserving than many people on your list.

For example these guys here from a quick glance, was there ever a time in their career when you would say these rappers were the best in the world? not really for most of them

Ballsy for posting a list, will always be picked apart. I would have Nas number one personally, Em ahead of Jay but around 4/5.

Pun top 5 (For me personally).

Big L lower, just not enough material to put him that high.

Think Kendrick has cemented his spot in the top 10 and now will forever be in the top 5 dead or alive debates. No matter what he does from now on. But a lot of it can be "What have you done for me lately".

RZA should definitely be in the top 50. You could even argue RZA to be in the top 20. RZA is a fantastic rapper. He has one of the biggest vocabularies in hip-hop.

I'm not agreeing nor disagreeing, but having a wide vocabulary doesn't make you a good rapper. It's not a rapping skill.

If you have a large vocabulary, you'll be able to take advantage of different rhyme schemes more effectively, so I would argue it contributes to rapping skill. RZA is one of the best lyricists in hip-hop, so I would definitely place him in the top 50 in terms of rapping skill.

GZA, Ghostface Killah, and RZA are my top 3 Wu-Tang. RZA created the Wu-Tang clan, he has to be up there

If he's your favorite thats fine but Ghost and Rae are obviously the best rappers and I'd argue Method is a better rapper than rza
