Sep 4, 2017 Let's say his next album will top all previous albums. What would he have to do in your opinion for him to drop his best work yet?
Sep 4, 2017 Better Flow Better Lyrics Change his delivery (the angry yelling delivery is just terrible) Better subject matter More substance
Sep 4, 2017 Pretty much just changing his flow, ever since rap god & him making the Guinness world record book, shady cypher, he has been trying to cram as many words as possible with that atrocious flow.
Sep 4, 2017 If he managed to somehow drop a SSLP/MMLP/TES type album, would be cool, but I would still be disappointed. I think if he had d--- type production on his new album, regardless of how he actually raps, it will be a lot better. With this production though, he has to change his content of rapping, I don't want to hear about how he can't go to target, how his daughters are grown up, or even how his love life is going. I think if he came with a bragging type of gimmick, where he brags about his accomplishments, like Kanye's FACTS record, it would be different enough for me to actually say I like it more than his previous works
Sep 4, 2017 Dopest tracks to be put in the album, not in the Deluxe one. Also choose biggest songs and avoid songs like So Far or Berzerk
Sep 4, 2017 Forreal though, to reach his full potential this album he needs to: 1. Get rid of all the yes-men around him (pretty impossible); 2. Choose his own beats (f--- Paul); 3. No pop singles; 4. Do his own hooks bar one or two 5. Not record 100+ songs for the album -- focus on recording and perfecting fewer songs = easier to narrow down the final cut; a key reason as to why some of his later work lacks cohesion 6. Not try to cram 100 rhymes into 2 bars. It's unnecessary. Go insanely intricate, flex your skills and rap fast on one track or so, but don't sacrifice flow etc. by being over technical. It's impressive, and you're the best at it, we get it, but it doesn't always suit the song. His lyricism is at an all-time high, and it'd be a real shame if that got looked over because of poor beat choices etc. and other issues that shouldn't be too hard to address.
Sep 4, 2017 Honestly for me production is the biggest step. Go with more modern production and he will be fine. Get Metro Boomin on the first single. Try to have as few producers as possible. Then he needs to fix his content. No immature content. No cringeworthy bars on the album. I think it would really help to get rid of porter and paul and get some dre and even Kendrick in on it. They wouldn't lie to him
Sep 4, 2017 No, we'd get Encore 2 and then he'd probably die. But then we'd get to hear some of the s--- in his vault after his death
Sep 4, 2017 @Xmipod What do you think of the flow he had on No Favors? Would you bump a track with that flow if it didn't have some of the cringeworthy lines as No Favors?
Sep 4, 2017 I loved it all if you took out the part from Ann Coulter to the end of the objects he'd use. Other than that it was a great verse imo. I would bump it in the whip without turning it down at a light if it didn't have that part
Sep 4, 2017 His voice sounds so bad these days. I like how he sounded during the Eminem Show to the Encore era. He always had this distinctive "high pitched" voice but it just wasn't irritating back then. Has his voice really declined that badly or did he use some kind of filter or some s--- on those albums? Now it' just raspy/choppy and annoying. That freaking atrocious flow doesn't help.
