    But not only is this distinction super ambiguous, there's also really no point in making it. U dont listen to ye and say ur listening to art lol it's all rap. Rapping is art.

    Idk just tired of hearing kanye (etc) isn't a good rapper but is a great artist. No, kanye is a great rapper because of how good he is at making rap music.

    Tech N9ne isn't technically better than Pac is he? I think he just raps fast. My point is King Los is an amazing rapper but he doesn't make very good music but because of that im not gonna call him a bad rapper. Why do you guys have such an issue with this?

    Why even differentiate the two? If a rapper with "pure technical skills" is a bad artist, then they're not a good rapper
