    Been on it since i was born. Thats what my people eat as like lunch or a side for dinner. I like the crunchy plantains more than the soft bannana feel when it's cooked. The chips are like a staple in my house sorta like potato chips, even though the ones i buy come in a small bag

    I been f---ing with plantains hardcore the past six months or so, one of the most versatile fruits there is. I make plantain "chips" (kinda more like fries cuz I like them crispy on the outside soft on the inside) a few times a week. Maduros are bomb too.


    I've made plantain buns before too.

    Plantains look like giant bananas but when they're green you honestly cook them more like a potato. I've had them boiled and mashed with jerk chicken and s--- too. When they're ripe they're super sweet more like a banana but I've honestly never really eaten them raw, I dunno if you're even supposed to lol.
