Sep 25, 2017 The problem with that is... with rapping you can at least pretend it's objective (which is what you should do when discussing music this way, since what's the point of discussing taste? It'll always end up as the same "it's my opinion bro"). When discussing something as broad as their discographies, you don't get to pretend it's objective.
Sep 25, 2017 i think he probably meant tes has overall a more serious tone , the production may add to that too and maybe because yo u dont see the same eminem that was with the i dont give a fk attitude on almost every sslp track
Sep 25, 2017 Without Nas it's entirely possible Jay Z wouldn't have had a successful career, or it would've taken off much later. /thread

Sep 25, 2017 We can get into technical ability (virus brought up poetic devices, entendres of all multiplicative sand s---) At the end of the day when I hear a BIG verse that guy is the one who sounds the best on a record imo
Sep 25, 2017 I swear all these vs. rapper threads turn into the same discussion on top 5, who’s the goat etc. Isn’t there just one thread for that? Because there should be
Sep 25, 2017 I don't really see The chronic and low end theory put over them often, just depends on whose list you're looking at
Sep 25, 2017 I doubt he would use ghostwriters for verses (I might be wrong though). He probably just uses them for hooks which is acceptable
Sep 25, 2017 Technicaly ability is meaningless, he was a significantly better writer than Em. He crossed over into territory that Em is still struggling with today. Big could drop tracks like Mo Money Mo Problems or Hypnotize without ever sacrificing his sound and put them next to tracks like n----s Bleed and Long Kiss Goodnight without ever sounding out of place.
