Sep 26, 2017This is a series I'm starting where I put on rappers and singers that are just starting and barely anyone knows about.
T.Y.E.
The 23 year old rapper and singer originating from Dallas, Texas has been involved in music at a very young age. His father, Rich E. Blaze, produced for Bone Thugs-N-Harmony & Diane Warren while his brothers were small-time local rappers. After choosing choir as an elective in high school, he eventually received a full-ride scholarship to Abilene Christian University and stayed in college until dropping out around 2015 after trying to commit suicide. He's been diagnosed as bipolar in 2014 and suffered from depression which made him try to bring his condition into his music. His music has been described as a trap styled Death Grips mixed sometimes with his classical opera singing while he always utilizes his aggressive flow and delivery in his songs.
He's released an album titled 32 on June 14th, 2017 and has released several music videos on youtube that are some of the most interesting videos I've seen from an underground rapper, I really think he could become the next big rapper if not the biggest rapper in the underground.
His debut album, 32:

Okay so I'm on Lies now, and I've listened thoroughly to all the songs on this album up till now, can confidently say I enjoy this dude
still get serious Jazz Cartier vibes, but like I said earlier, verrrrrrrrrrry okay with that. And album really does build up @WPG and you get more into it the farther in you get. The heavy, trappy tracks on the backend feel earned and overall i think it just worksThe Gooch, Ordinary Joel, WPG and 1 other person like this. -
