She wrongly accused him of r--- and used her victim status to promote her career. She's a woman that even feminists have described as destructive to the movement because she's an example of why "listen and believe" is a r-----ed policy. Making fun of her is not only funny, but also totally justified.
Oct 3, 2017 People who make false r--- allegations that are found to be 100% false should be charged, it's not ok when you can nearly ruin someone's life and not receive any punishment. I'm libertarian too but I'm white, a lot of people don't actually know what it means and think it's just another word for conservative.
Oct 4, 2017 Fantano's politics have always been pretty left-leaning, he just has a pseudo-conservative sense of humor. I say "pseudo" because while he likes to call out "SJWs" and tell people to drink bleach (which granted, is more cringey than it is funny), he's never actually used his platform to champion conservative viewpoints. He might be somewhat complicit and associates himself with people who have some pretty f----- up beliefs, but I don't think that makes him worthy of a hitpiece like this.

I don't think it's a valuable way to spend one's time and usually a sign of somebody experiencing too much of the world through the internet, but to call somebody a men's rights activist because of that is dumb. A lot of those fringe Tumblr takes deserve ridicule and undermine their own cause despite the fact the right uses that to fuel their warped perception of the world. If I'm missing more evidence to the contrary, my bad.

The people who lost their s--- over South Park and Eminem 20 years ago were all old white churchgoers and s---. Humor is about breaking boundaries. It can do that to either side of the political spectrum.
Oct 4, 2017 i don't really have time tonight but i wanna respond to this more fully tomorrow. there are a couple of different angles to this, i think, but it gets at one really fundamental question that i think is worth everyone considering: is there an important difference between espousing sincere beliefs and espousing those same beliefs insincerely, for money?
Oct 4, 2017 This article bends over backwards to omit the comedic intentions that were clearly telegraphed in most of these videos. Like when it suggests Fantano was alluding to lynching and not edgy people like Hopsin, ---, Tyler etc all having music videos where they hang themselves or other people. It's a parody that anybody with an ounce of awareness reads into properly. Does something being "comedy" shield it from criticism? Of course not. There's tons of bad comedy that doesn't ride the line properly, but the article intently frames most of these examples in very, very dishonest ways.
