    I think he's really good. One of the most listenable people out imo I've never met someone who doesn't know or doesn't bump J Cole some times, and that's people with massively different tastes in rap.

    I miss when Cole had something to prove. Now it just seems like he has a superiority complex and thinks he's saving the world overly preaching about things other rappers have been doing long before and in way more intricate interesting ways

    he gets by making the same music over and over except with time he's only become less interesting. His music is tailor-made to be relatable to people and that's the most lifeless thing you can do in art, so you can miss me with all of that.

    Exactly and I hate to say it but I feel like he did the same with FHD trying to draw from GKMCs coming of age narrative. The only difference is FHD at least was quality
