Nov 5, 2017 I remember how dissapointed I was first listen through. Still do not see the appeal. Was hoping recovery was a one time thing, but recovery shill em was here to stay.

Nov 5, 2017 eminem started getting precooked song with hooks, beats etc already in place for recovery and has only ever been using those since. quality has only droped and dropped.hopefully with dre and batson and mb bass bros involved we might be back to a time where em was putting in effort into his songs.
Nov 5, 2017 he ruined his original classic with this album by putting pop stars. the same first album with this title he was dissing them. he turned into a hypocrite. some few good songs but it's his worse in his comeback. the bonus songs might be better than some of the album cuts.

Nov 5, 2017 Honestly I think the album should’ve been self titled. It has no real theme or vibe to it. Like someone else in this thread said “it’s just there”. What’s funny is me and a kid at work we’re discussing Eminem one time. He said he loved Relapse and hated Recovery and I asked him what he thought of MMLP2 and that was his exact response. “It’s just there”. You can’t explain it any better than that. I never even hear people talk about the album anymore because other than a few tracks it’s very forgettable. And I think the main reason is it sounds like some songs were recorded two years after some others so there’s not even a distinct sound to remember. Even Recovery which I still think has way worse production is still more memorable because every song sounds like it belongs. So hopefully Em realized his mistakes with this one and has a clear theme and vibe on Revival.

Nov 5, 2017 He didn't actually put any of the pop stars he dissed back in the day. And compared to Recovery, MMLP 2 sounded a lot more like rap music.
Nov 5, 2017 it actually sounds like terrible rap music. It also doesn't match up to his original classic. Especially with no Dr. Dre involved. At least Recovery had 2 Dr. Dre tracks, this was supposed to have him producing on here.
