    '98-'02 he's gotta be one of the most skilled MC's ever.


    Before anyone points out the obvious, yeah it's a given he is a different person than he was so long ago. But this is the exact same type of dense, complex, funny and chaotic style that he has been desperately trying to recapture for years and yet it is a thousand times more listenable.

    Why is that? There's too many reasons to count but I'll let you guys decide. Nothing in this style he has done is remotely comparable in quality to this stuff above...people overrate the decent stuff he does now adays. Once you hear stuff like this I believe it's easy to see how it's just a completely different caliber, and if you deny that then I don't know what else to tell you. Throw the syllable crunching out of the way, he's regressed in so many ways over the course of 20 years that it's shocking.
