Nov 16, 20171. I like how he can rap about something personal and sound so unique. His rapping from the old days is great and I like it, especially his delivery. Also his I dont care attitude was nice. Same goes for some of his newer songs.
2. On every average - bad album there were a few great songs so whenever he drops smth I'm curious what it sounds like.

Like Mikey said, still intrigued for when a new album comes out.
Dude got me into rap with MMLP, so I guess me still listening is somehow paying respect. If it weren't for him I probably wouldn't even be into this genre of music.jmillithauglybasedgod, Fgbatman, Guma and 4 others like this. -

but just imagine being the person who produces a beat for modern day em and when the time is right, handing it off to him... knowing he's going to ruin everything you've worked so hard onKingZ, jmillithauglybasedgod, DetroitDGAF and 4 others like this. -

when i use to listen it was cause i liked his voice, his flow and the way his rhymes sounded with the production style he use to roll with and how dark it all was
it was just such a unique combination, one that he's since ruinedjmillithauglybasedgod, Bourbon Ben, Guma and 2 others like this. -

I would listen to MMLP at my old mates house. Spend our days gaming on Megadrive, Dreamcast and N64 to that on repeat.
Didn't own an album myself till TES and bought SSLP and MMLP soon after.
Another of my mates HATED the Ken slurping d----s skit, so my mate would blast it on repeat with his mother downstairsjmillithauglybasedgod, Guma, Ids5621 and 2 others like this. -

if his flow/production ever manages to magically make it's way back to how it was before recovery, and become listenable again... i might have a heart attack tbhKingZ, jmillithauglybasedgod, Guma and 2 others like this. -

I like how Eminem rapes words, I completely enjoy it, he makes me c-m everytime he does something like this
And I like his agressive songs a lot dude, everytime he screams it empowers me, f--- it, I almost like everything, there are only a few songs that are unlistenable for me as: Cindirella Man, ShadyXV and a few SSLP, Encore and Relapse songs, but the rest is dope enough for me. But I think that the most important thing that made us like him is that we can relate our lives to him when we feel sad or something, he's a great storyteller.Cyreides, stzenit94, Tal and 1 other person like this. -

i listen to him because his music is so pure & rich and makes me feel like a real man
to me hes always gonna be the best lyrically. he's number 1, his shouting flow gave me goosebumps he's so good, his flow is impeccable, just the number 1 lyricist no question. name one person who could body Em on a track? lmao u cant! that's right because he's number 1 hands down!!! if you don't agree, you're not a real rap fan and you probably like lil wayne LOL... (BTW they did a song together, and Em actuallysubliminally dissed wayne, cause hes so dumb LOL!!)Bourbon Ben, DetroitDGAF and Cyreides like this. -

Do you mean why we still listen to him or why overall? If it's the first one I don't even listen to him nowadays. I only check out his new songs and definitely going to check out his upcoming album. If it's going to be good I will listen to it often otherwise I will lose interest after a week.jmillithauglybasedgod, Bourbon Ben and Cyreides like this. -

I started listening to Eminem for his story telling and presence on the mic - which, for me, was largely unmatched back in the day.
As for the present day, I listen to the guy mostly out of a false sense of loyalty. But, deep down, there's still hope that he may recapture that old spark, however unlikely.jmillithauglybasedgod, FreeAgent and Bourbon Ben like this. - Jul 22, 2025
