    It was a freak accident. The guy saw something wrapped in cloth on the street. He picked it up & it happened to be a gun & it went off. The bullet ricocheted off the sidewalk & struck the women. @Xmipod over here baiting not telling the full story.

    Also illegal immigrants do pay tax. You realize that just because they're not documented doesn't mean they're not paying right? Do you know that the U.S collects billions of dollars every year from undocumented workers (illegal immigrants)? There's billions of dollars coming in every year from undocumented workers with fake social security cards who's number doesn't match with anyone on record. Since they can't prove the wage is theirs they don't even collect retirement benefits or anything like that. A huge percentage of unpaid payroll taxes end up in retirement benefits of Americans. So actually they're working harder and longer for less money and for less benefits than other Americans. The IRS claims that in 2010 nearly $900 million was received by over 3 million undocumented workers through a ITIN which let's people pay taxes even if they were paid illegally in cash. Illegal immigrants have incentive to pay their tax because they'll have more of a chance to gain legal status.

    America isn't europe immigrants aren't "draining" the system because the American system isn't designed that way. Sure some of them are able to access assistance programs like food stamps but the money they bring in far outweighs any expenses of someone trying to take advantage of assistance programs. But seriously do you even really care about facts? I bet if the laws were changed and there was a surge of LEGAL immigrants from south america, or if current illegals were granted legal status you'd still be salty about it because you don't actually give two f---s about the legal technicalities lol

    Look at any tax reports. There's billions in taxes coming in from illegal immigrants and they aren't even receiving the benefits

    none of the undocumented people who live here get food aid, housing aid, anything. none of them are on medicaid or medicare. nothing. how are they "mooching"--they do, on the whole, dangerous and/or labor-intensive work at prices that radically increase profit margins for capitalists and also pay into tax pools. you have no idea what you're talking about.

    it's so disgusting how your racism clouds out facts that, like, a fifth-grader could understand: undocumented immigrants don't "mooch off the government," because they can't. they don't collect public benefits. but in many cases they DO pay into payroll taxes.

    You’re really dumb. Undocumented immigrants can’t get welfare assistance. This is common knowledge. The few federal services they do have such as WIC (Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children) & emergency medical care for situations such as childbirth are very basic services provided to pretty much anyone. This whole “illegals drain the system” narrative has been debunked so many times.
