for a so called student of hip hop who only cares about rap why is he still chasing hits?

Jay-z at this stage of his carreer release a very good album, em could learn a thing or too, why not reach out to him to make a song together instead of reaching out to his wife to make a pity party song?

Why go after PINK, how does she singing something skylar grey wrote helps his vision for this album? Why not just have skyler sing all 4 tracks? Whats the point of having alicia keys if she doesnt have the freedom to write?
