I remember when this song came out. I was disappointed because it still had a slight accent. Boy how times have changed, looking back.. he flows dope AF on this song! Stoned ATM so thinking introspective here, but the more I listen to an em song, the more I like it. Prob just the interstan, and I almost brainwash myself into liking it. Starting to dig untouchable now, but I hated when I first heard it. Def interstan.

Anyhow, people say Em can flow like he used to, which I think is complete BS. He can’t. People cite him rapping his old songs as he used to, b---- .. so what? So can I, lmfao. Bass brothers probably really deserve credit for his career and signature sound. I don’t think he can write a song or even in the right mindstate to concentrate to flow this consistent anymore, let alone songs from his eary days. Doesn’t mean I don’t like his new s---, it’s just not what made me like him originally.

Best friend... He flowed f---ing beast on that. Evil twin.. groundhog day etc. His style changed up. He evolved. It doesn't mean he can't flow that. It means he's not. For whatever reason. What people perceive as a lack of flow he more than makes up for in intricacy and double entendres and wordplay and syllable play. Just take it for what it is...entertainment. and entertaining he is.

Btw, yes! Groundhogs day is a top 10 em track of all time .. but it was on the DELUXE! MMLP2s bonus songs .. every single one, was better than any on the album, outside of .,. Get this, Low key love game is top 10 too imo.

People have to understand.. this is all this man does... 24/7... don't u think he could flow like that if he wanted to? I could put lyrics on a beat.. I'm sure any fan of hip hop could. He's looking past the simple s--- and actually matching syllables to drum patterns or fitting different vocabulary into schemes. It's really incredible at that level. Besides to do something for so long and STILL keep people guessing.. wow

I personally think the actual message and words are the most important part of a song. Otherwise we could spend our live savings on a Dre beat, mumble over it and get rich. If I had a message I really wanted to get out...I'd probably do exactly what he did. Force the listener to focus on my f---ing words. Nothing else.

No see, this is BS. Bc he isn’t doing it better than he was before. He used to rap just as wel if not better previously and it just sounded amazing bc of the delivery. If he spit wicked ways in a 98 flow it would be his greatest song ever made. His lyrics are on point it’s just how it comes across musically.

Nah, I don’t think he can. He’s been trying for years to recapture a great flow, and there’s just always SOMETHING off. Whether it be tone, syllables, something just makes it less smooth. I hope he proves me wrong, but I feel like if it was possible, he would’ve found it in the last 8 or so years.

No doubt. Like you said, it doesn't necessarily even mean I don’t like his new stuff. It just is what it is, he flow (for the most part) isn’t as smooth as it once was. That said, a few songs every album he seems to really capture a strong consistent flow. Just wish he could do it throughout, like the Relapse and prior days.

People like you forget Relapse and Recovery happened. Do you not understand hip hop? Flow? Anything Em related? There's only so many smooth flows you can do without repeating things. Em doesn't like doing the same s--- over again. ITS Because before he was recording line by line(punch in/punch out).
