- My thoughts:
Em starts this record out with Believe which is a track that is so good that in fact, it makes me absolutely sick to talk about it and the album that follows. From there it is a bonafide nosedive into 70 minutes of awkward pop-rap rock anthems with no shred of any artistry whatsoever. It is like Em came up with 6-7 songs (if we can even call his random nauseating rapping "songs") and then let Paul take care and gift him the bones of 7-8 tracks that he can lay verses in, and then call the steaming pile of s--- an album.
I'm notorious for mostly hating on Relapse and Recovery on here....but after MMLP2, I never thought he had it him him to stoop this low again. Upon hearing my first playthrough of this record though , and I never thought I would fathom saying this let alone immediately after playing the new record for the first time, it's probably his worst album. It isn't bad no it's embarrassingly bad.
