Dec 18, 2017 Em and Paul said offended is there favorite track on the album. That's the problem right there. lol.
Dec 18, 2017 EminemBase, are you sure that Heat fits in? I do like your idea though. Here is my tracklist. 1. Walk on Water 2. Believe 3. Chloraseptic 4. Offended 5. Framed 6. Untouchable 7. Revival Interlude 8. Like Home 9. Bad Husband 10.. In Your Head 11.. Castle 12.. Arose Disc 2 1. Remind Me 2. Heat 3. Tragic Endings 4. River 5. Nowhere Fast 6. Need Me
Dec 18, 2017 I dont get the point of these threads. Just listen to the whole album once and make a playlist out of the songs you liked.
Dec 18, 2017 1- Walk on Water 2- Believe 3- Chloraseptic 4- Untouchable 5- Frammed 6- Bad Husband 7- River 8- Revival (interlude) 9- Nowhere fast (f--- like home) 10- In your head 11- Castle 12- Arose
Dec 18, 2017 I changed the order while keeping all the songs/skits, and think this flows better. 1. Need Me (Ft. Pink) 2, Heat 3. Remind Me (Intro Skit) 4. Remind Me 5. In Your Head 6. Bad Husband (Ft. X-Ambassadors) 7. Believe 8. Nowhere Fast (Ft. Kehlani) 9. Offended 10. Tragic Endings (Ft. Skylar Gray) 11. Framed 12. Revival (Interlude Skit) 13. Like Home (Ft. Alicia Keys) 14. Chloraseptic (Ft. Phresher) 15. Untouchable 16. River (Ft. Ed Sheeran) 17. Walk on Water (Ft. Beyoncé) 18. Castle 19. Arose That flows much better. Worth a try I assure you.
Dec 18, 2017 Well I disagree with that, not my taste. The pop tracks bring the album down for me. For me... the new sound - sounded like "Believe", "Chloraseptic", "Untouchable"... "Offended". He had a similar tone on all of them and they all sound connected, like they could be made for the same album. I love "In Your Head", "Castle" and "Arose" - and "Like Home", mainly because it's topical to the album theme / imagery, plus Alicia's hook isn't as ballad'y. But the rest I could do the f--- without. Such a drag for so many tracks. That format is exhausting. I agree "Remind Me" brings s--- down and is pointless though. Above all else... Placement on Revival is REALLY bad. Like, really bad. To sandwhich "Framed" in between "Tragic Endings" and "Nowhere Fast"? All the back and forth of vibes. It's terrible.
Dec 18, 2017 Puke is a f---ing great song, easily one of the better songs on Encore. Yes i'm serious and i'll fight any c---- who says otherwise...
Dec 18, 2017 I think Em was attempting to tie the trilogy up in a bow too, that's why you've more Recovery-esque poppy production (even though we're tired of it), but also Relapse-y tracks (Framed, but don't ignore Chloraseptic, that third verse is full on Relapse mode) and a few other references scattered throughout. I think it was a smart move to acknowledge and even honour Relapse a little instead of treating it like a blip, a mistake...it's a part of his legacy, it's Disc 1 of this trilogy, and ultimately is where this comeback story of his addiction, and his inevitable return to form, began.
Dec 18, 2017 1. Believe 2. Chloraseptic 3. River 4. Like Home 5. Revival (Interlude) 6. Bad Husband 7. Tragic Endings 8. Framed 9. Nowhere Fast 10. Castle 11. Arose
Dec 18, 2017 I know your a legit Em Fan, how in the Holy Facking Framed....Ill trade u Framed for Heat before this thread turns into a mosh pit..
Dec 18, 2017 idk how your Post/like ratio got so good but I know it wasn't from saying blasphemy like this
Dec 18, 2017 The production is great, Em's rapping is amazing and he's clever and nuanced on it. That's what I love and that's when Em's at his best to me. Not when he's being a literal, obvious sledgehammer like IIII FEEEEEL STUFFF!!
