    Hip hop wasn't something I sought out at first - though those were the pre-Napster days. I always enjoyed when Gangsta's Paradise or Ghetto Superstar came on the radio. When Slim Shady LP came out, though, that's when my journey truly began.

    For me, it was a very specific song. I heard Scenario by Tribe Called Quest when I was a little kid in the early 90s and I was instantly hooked. I've primarily listened to hip hop ever since.

    Indeed. I vividly remember being completely mesmerized by busta's guest verse. I would listen to that shot on repeat just for that verse.

    Nonetheless, I was off and running listening to anything and everything hip hop.
