reesey What You Looking At This For?

The hype surrounding Revival leading up to the release was interesting. When it released almost everyone hated it and people even wanted him to throw in the towel, unlike Jay Z who people were excited to hear from. This topic has been thrown around since Eminem alienated his fans with Encore, Relapse, and Recovery. There are still some old Slim Shady fans that are listening to his new music but most of them don't listen to his new s--- and have moved on.

I personally think Eminem lost his ability to make a good album after 2003 since his music post hiatus has made Encore look like an instant classic and MMLP and TES look like straight up masterpieces.

Realistically yes he has lost his ability to make another good project

In an ideal world Eminem would try his hardest to make another great project after the reaction to this album.

Its about the person before his work though. I'd rather Eminem be healthy af and raise a healthy family with him rather than Eminem go out of his way just to make another great album. Going to the studio for a long period of time isn't an easy thing to do for Em or any musician at this point.

No he's just a victim of bad advising. When he veers away from Re- anything and makes an independent body of work he will prove once again that he can still make a quality album

There's probably better albums in the Recovery, MMLP2, and Revival cuts that didn't make it. His selection is what is bad. Also, him trying to please every type of fan of his.

Yes. He can still make good songs but not for the length of an album

This. Individually he can make some great songs, but not a cohesive album which is considered "good" throughout.
