Mar 29, 2018 Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda has announced his debut solo album, Post Traumatic. It’s due out June 15 via Warner Bros. The 16-track LP includes the three songs from Shinoda’s January Post Traumatic EP, which marked his first new music since the death of his Linkin Park bandmate Chester Bennington in July 2017. Below, watch the music videos for two new songs from the record, “Crossing a Line” and “Nothing Makes Sense Anymore.” “It’s a journey out of grief and darkness, not into grief and darkness,” Shinoda said of Post Traumatic in a statement. “If people have been through something similar, I hope they feel less alone.” In December, Linkin Park shared their live album One More Light Live, featuring recordings of Bennington’s last performances. The band released their latest studio LP, One More Light, in May 2017. Source: https://pitchfork.com/news/linkin-parks-mike-shinoda-announces-new-album-post-traumautic/
Mar 29, 2018 helll yeah, i was just talking to a friend a month ago about how great a mike shinoda album wouldve been if the songs from the ep were singles instead, and assuming those songs will be on here thats pretty much what were getting really hype for this, havent heard the new songs yet but will tonight
Mar 29, 2018 Do you guys think he's implying the end of Linkin Park with that single? "I don’t know how to warn you / for what I’m gonna say Cause you’re holding so tight to / what I’m taking away" "It’s not about status / we know it never was Cause what good is the kingdom / when you’re missing the love"
Mar 29, 2018 dude not hatin but linkin park f---ing died when chester did its over just gotta let it go now
Mar 29, 2018 Nah, I was watching the interview he did on KROQ when he premiered the singles. He said that LP will carry on, but it's uncertain how or when. Live shows being the biggest factor, since they wouldn't be able to perform Chester's parts. I think he's talking about a bygone era of Linkin Park and that everything will drastically change from now on.
Mar 30, 2018 Not sure I like the 'crossing the line' one though. Sounds a bit generic to me. Did thoroughly enjoy the other 3 solo songs he released since Chester passed away.
Mar 30, 2018 Had a chance to listen to these two tracks more today and I have to say "Nothing Makes Sense Anymore" is my favorite song this year so far. Along with the music video, it just really puts me in this strange place. I don't really know how to explain it.
Mar 30, 2018 Yeah if it was moved to the Em sxn then shinoda would be considered a GOAT imo. Nope. Tech n9ne's goatee alone is a better artist than Shitoda.
Apr 1, 2018 He released a line of overpriced flannels. But the names of the designs...some of those are song titles: Red to Black Cigarettes Crossing a Line Does that mean the other three designs are titles from the new album? Tools of the Trade Blue Dolla
