I typically don't make eminem threads cuz mainly he hasn't been note worthy for a while. But now that Caterpiller verse & the Chloraseptic remix verse have dropped I'm beginning to think Eminem is legitimately pissed off to the point where he'll be more inspired to prove himself. & that's always when he made his best s---. We won't ever see any of that 99-03 again, but I think if his next album is consistent (which is a huge if) he'll definitely be back on the top of his game. & counting Believe, Castle, Arose, with these makes for some great listens right now. Still wish he'd cut out those s--- jokes though.BLACKIV, SomeRandomNob, froboy6942 and 2 others like this. -

that verse was trash, and had literally a contender for em worst line of all f---ing time..literally
no, it is no a good verse, his delivery was at an all time low;..and it was trash
now for medicine man, the first part was the only good part...second is trash

Honestly is em r-----ed? Like he keeps talking about how he wants to recapture the magic of his earlier years, its obvious thats what hes been chasing since like 2011. But he does nothing to help him recreate the greatness of the earlier era. No bass bros, no dre, no em production, like honestly if he surrounded himself with the same folk he had around him in 99-03 then i am sure he would make an album better than anything since encore. Em needs those f---ers to filter out his r-----ed s--- and keep him focused. Relapse only had dre and the rest afterwards had nobody, the bass bros were essential in those classic albums. Its obvious now that those albums werent 100% his genius but a sum of all those involved.NAES, Ids5621, eminemson and 1 other person like this. -

He's barely hanging on to what he still has. He's on thin ice. Which is what Walk on Water should have really been about lmao.
I don't think he has what it takes to make another classic album.
So this next album has to at least be half decent and top MMLP2. It needs to have a sense of closure, REAL closure and not him remembering what his overdose was like 10 years ago and thinking about what would've been if he had died.An album mixed with a bunch of rap rock songs about some mystery woman and how he's in love, but is a pig and treats her like s---.
A bunch of songs about his failed marriage and relationships, songs about self doubt and then songs about how he is one of the greatest of all time yet people don't give him the credit he deserves.
No more Alex Da Kid beats, or Skylar Grey features. No more poppy hooks. We need an actual Eminem album that feels genuine.
I have been defending Eminem since Encore, but this album was straight up disrespectful. I can't even defend it.
Not a single song on that album that was worth revisiting. Castle and Believe were dope to me at first, but after a few months I got bored of them too.NAES, KingZ, Ids5621 and 1 other person like this. -

You can't hold a can of beer near Eminem at the grammys. But, he has no problem rapping poop jokes into your ear. This verse is from MMLP2 era. Very obviously meant to have slaughterhouse featured with that shoutout. So, with this being an old verse with that c-m to grips like being known for a long time now, how does an old track mean he's back? Confusing thread.eminemson, Sahil Kohli and CavalierTD like this.
