May 10, 2018 playing through vice city and figured I would try and start some discussion Didn't include non main-series games cause they obviously aren't the best
May 10, 2018 I'm more of a IV/V person but imo if Vice City was remade with modern technology (or if GTA6 takes place in vice city) it would be the go-to best imo. With IV and V....IV was such a technical behemoth when it came out, it amazed me for years and years and aged fantastic even today. V is even more impressive obviously but something just makes me think back like how advanced GTA IV was at the time....maybe just R* approach to realism with that game specifically makes it age like fine wine in my mind at least
May 10, 2018 Yeah I'm mostly picking vc and sa for how much I liked them (and still do) as far as technology goes new ones are better ofc. Like, SA has more possibilities than VC but VC is so much nostalgia for me and I like the storyline more as well. But SA has a bigger area. So I honestly cant pick between them
May 10, 2018 Yes I'm speaking more on their technology on release not comparing them together. VC is smaller and less features than San Andreas but the style is much better

May 10, 2018 I think Five was pretty f---ing great. I didn't play the OG ones when I was younger much though (mum wouldn't let me ha). I played the PSP ones; Liberty City and Vice City stories. I had four and five on a console. Four looking back I don't really rate.
May 10, 2018 GTA SA. GTA IV is f---ing great, but GTA SA is just better, more fun, more s--- to do, more PC optimized , CJ.. . Everything .
May 10, 2018 Gta 4 for me hands down. They downgraded the physics immensely for 5 idfk why. The whole game has a weightyness to it, all the guns feel solid too and the driving has a nice sense of momentum. And the euphoria ragdoll is delicious. Gta 5 has far more activities to do but lets be honest, the meat of gta is slaughtering people and that to me is the most fun in 4. I replayed them all two years ago. Id rank them 4>vice city>san andreas>3>5. All are great games.
