To answer OP, I'd say Big L. My brudda @Winter already summed it up perfectly, while I enjoy listening to him myself I can't rank his solo work with the more expansive and fully fleshed careers that his contemporaries have made. It's not his fault but it's what it is, plus I truly do feel Cam'ron the greatest rapper to ever come out of Harlem

Big L is a pretty special emcee all around. I can understand you making the case that neither of his albums are classic albums but it's not a stretch to say his microphone capability is top tier and he's probably the best radio freestyle rapper of all time

L is frequently cited as one of the most skilled rappers of all time, despite only make one and half albums, neither of which is anything special.

    In 2018, Drake.

He makes fun music but I still don't think he's dropped a classic album

Honestly never thought about this. Off the top of my head:

    The Diary
    The Fix
    My Homies
    The Untouchable
    Last of a Dying Breed

Should probably revisit most of these

I feel he's hideously overlooked; solid discography, stylistic influence on fashion and the way people rhyme with heavy metaphors and schemes. Purple Haze has some of the most colorful rapping I've ever listened to
