Nah I'll rescue this, Usher was never going to make another Confessions...You just can't resurrect or rehash those same feelings of your lifetime into a body of music twice. That was one of the last traditional R&B records to get that kind of unanimous spotlight, helped it coincided when Rap was dominating the radio (can't forget Yeah was the intro phew).

Afterwards, his brand name is still impeccable, everyone knows his name but it's sort of like 50 where he never adjusted to newer trends and the competition simply increased, afterwards songwriters like Ne-Yo & The-Dream took R&B to the direction it is now. Usher still had some undeniable hits post-Confessions, he had a nice run 07-11
