Jul 9, 2018 Gave Arca a 5 and slowdive a 4 . you gotta stop pretending thats the only person that enjoys other music you're only hurting yourself by not trying. I'll remember this next time I think of helping when I don't need too.
Jul 9, 2018 I like ur non rap opinions more than most of ur rap tbh. Some of these I'm definitely gonna check out
Jul 9, 2018 already heard and love the sophie joint been meaning to get around to Iglooghost and kelela but honestly keep straight up forgetting they're a thing
Jul 9, 2018 Only one I missed was Mount Eerie, I'll check that out when I can. I remember OJ put me on to Moses Sumney and the rest of course are great (Iglooghost is so dope) So happy we actually got a Slowdive album after all those years.
Jul 9, 2018 The saddest s--- since Carrie & Lowell and honestly much sadder. C&L atleast had a musical aspect in mind this album is just a man strumming a guitar narrating his wife dying and everything that comes with it. Iglooghost is great and he has two EPs dropping later this month or August I forgot which one but yeah even Danny Brown wants to work with him now that s--- would be nuts A lot of people don't like Slowdive self titled and idk why, I had to make @Cunner see the light . it's not as good as soulvaki but it's d--- good
Jul 9, 2018 Idk how many times in my life I'll listen to A Crow Looked at Me not so much because the theme (I played Carrie & Lowell DAILY for a d--- year) but ACLAM is so stripped back it's just raw emotion a man making music while mourning his dead wife who died in some instances days before he was recording and I respect that very few times will you ever get an album so deep to the bone of human consciousness and mortality
Jul 9, 2018 I remember you recommended that Sofjan record (up to that point I only heard Illinois) and was absolutely stunned. Still need to check out the rest of his catalog. Slowdive was a great return, it's like when MBV came back some years ago I wasn't expecting another Loveless but it's very welcoming to hear their incredible use of guitar feedback. Has Arca done anything new lately? I last remember besides the album and his work with Bjork I haven't heard from him this year?
