Jul 12, 2018 the two most musically influential albums of kanye's career were wildly divisive when they dropped and remain that way "When James Joyce's career is over, I just don't see people saying "wow, he was a great writer and someone we'll always remember" i'm a better critic than fantano because i do better criticism than fantano: more thoughtful, more rooted in history and context, more incisive
Jul 12, 2018 every time i post a real opinion here "ur trole lel XD" without fail. but anyways, your a bad artist and i'm better than u so u wanna keep going or what?
Jul 12, 2018 Has anybody said that 6ix9ine is to Sticky Fingaz, as Action Bronson is to Ghostface, yet?
Jul 12, 2018 Music critics are often complete jokes, of the the major entertainment types music is easily the most subjective in terms of percieved quality and enjoyment. And now you get these reviews where they talk about the artist more than the music, lmao at people who take pitchfork seriously.
Jul 12, 2018 Coming from the same person who defended that awful review from bitchfork for Ye, which most people ACTUALLY did not take seriously.
Jul 12, 2018 Like I said I know they get something because they give mediocre Ubisoft reskins good scores (8+) but again, name a good game that they've gave a 4-6? Or below? It's usually a fair measure and good critique. Anything above of course you should do your own further research but it's somewhere in the ballpark. Right but the game has like a 60% on metacritic so it's not proving your point. IGN rates the game a mediocre score which is right in line with what everyone else gave it. Guys I'm not saying IGN's reviews are accurate or completely honest but their low end scores are usually a good representation of bad games. Which is what I said in my first post...IGN gives me a good guide on games that aren't worth my time.
Jul 12, 2018 Nah bro, I didn't have a point to prove with that. You just said post a good game that IGN gave a 6 to
Jul 13, 2018 Isn’t mainstream gaming journalism pretty corrupt anyway? Like they’re afraid to give games from big companies bad scores cuz then they’ll pull their early access next time
Jul 13, 2018 Probably is, I know there has to be some degree of bias as developers and journalists brush shoulders quite a bit. The gaming industry is a lot smaller than the music industry, especially as far as AAA title studios go, and those in higher positions at Gamespot and IGN have been there for a decade plus.
