I listened to this album earlier and got so mad seeing all this trash mumble rap get the most recognition. I just want to go back to wu tang, tupac, biggie. How come nas a living legend sells less than 100k first week while incoherent trash like uzi vert, 21 savage, post malone, travis scott can go platinum in a matter of weeks. Its f---ing bs im tired of mumble rap i just want real hip hop back

KSI stands for "Killing Spree Incoprorated." If you played Halo 2 Xbox live back in the day you would understand that reference.

Nah. If you maintain a balance as a listener, both are equally enjoyable. Mumble rap has qualities that your old school rap doesn't have inspite of it's negatives. It gives your mind a breathing break after listening to highly lyrical, technical and preachy content you listen to. Yes lyrical rap is amazing but it isn't something you can bump 24/7. Mumble rap is just meant for vibing to in parties and whenever you feel low. In many cases like me, mumble rap keeps one away from being depressed. It has it's own purpose but it doesn't mean it's wack. It's the subgenre where there's most scope for creativity. If rap was only about spitting technical, rappity rap bars and leaving behind a conscious message now, it'd be as oversaturated as rap is now with tons of mumble rappers. Mumble rap isn't bad, the exposure that wack artists like Lil Yatchy, Pump, 69 etc. get doesn't allow the true talent to get their shine. That's the only bad aspect of mumble rap. There are wack artists but this subgenre is far from wack. Eminem is my favorite rapper and I still f--- with Mumble rap equally. There's no shame in that.

Yes, EDM is a great option for content that's more dependent on production, vibe and less lyricism but why betray hip hop and give your money to EDM? At least you're getting every kind of music as per your mood under a single umbrella called Hip Hop and you ain't giving your $ to another genre
