what is a multisyllable rhyme

    i hear the word multi or mutlis or multisyllable rhyme but dont know what it actually means.

    My family tree consists of d--- dealers, thugs and killers
    Strugglin', known to hustle screaming, "f--- they feelings!"
    I got advice from my father, all he told me was this

    would this be a multisyllabic rhyme ?

    Yes, and anything that doesn't rhyme syllable for syllable such as "con-sists" and "was-this" is called a slant/imperfect/partial rhyme. Also, since "tree consists" occurs before the end of the bar, it's called an "internal rhyme".

    so just so i understand the concept

    multisyllable rhymes are more then one syllable rhymes

    that come in the form of words and phrases.

    or "strings "

    This is a bad example. There's still only one rhyme, the 'a' sound. In order for a rhyme to be a multi it needs to have multiple rhymes with multiple different sounds.

    It's the same sound. Rap and Rack rhyme together but they're different syllables.
