Aug 28, 2018 Saving that for last. Gonna read In the Penal Colony next. Wouldn't be hard to run through all of Kafka's stuff in a day or two, but I find his stuff really emotionally taxing and think cramming would do it a disservice.
Aug 28, 2018 Goal of 30 but only finishes six so far. It's been a rough year lol Trying to finish strong and hit 15
Aug 28, 2018 I've read 21 books so far this year. My goal last year was 24 and I hit 28, so this year my goal is 30 as well. Just finished J Prince's memoir which has some cool hip-hop anecdotes/stories but was overall kinda flat to me. Glad I didn't buy it and found a pdf. Currently in the middle of reading The Sellout, The Wise Man's Fear, and The New Jim Crow. Also listening to Dark Tower III on audiobook.
Aug 28, 2018 Three so far loll. I don’t have nearly as much time to myself now that I’m working full time
Aug 28, 2018 way to many to count. some of the better ones i recall The President's Keeper - Jacques Pauw Thinking Fast & Slow - Daniel Kahneman (this was fascinating) The entire Foundation series - Asimov The Simarillion - Tolkien Handmaid's Tale - Atwood working my way through Lovecraft at the moment, can't believe I've never read him before
Aug 28, 2018 Yeah I've been wanting to read it for like four years, finally bought a copy when when I was in san fran.
Aug 28, 2018 So far I’ve only read 1 book this year and it’s the same book I read every single summer: Shogun. Granted, Shogun is like 3-4 books in one, but still, that’s no excuse. I’ve been slacking big time. I need to step it up.
Aug 28, 2018 About 15. Im reading Life and fate atm and its one of the best books I've read, it's based off war and peace but during soviet ww2 period of Russia. Shocking Master piece. Other great books I've read this year have been Book of dust Richard feyman - what do you care what people think? When the lion feeds
Aug 28, 2018 Never was a book person. However, if you still enjoy reading books till this day, that's actually very nice and good. There's never a limit to educating yourself, gaining more knowledge and learning (Although there are obviously other ways of educating yourself in our current time than just reading books... Everything is on the internet.) But in the end, to each his own.
