    Alchemist34 DO MY HEAD

    Nov 1, 2018
    They made like 4 holes around my belly button and they apparently shaved a bit of my stomach hair and pubes. They didn’t split me wide open though

    The full story if anyone’s interested;

    I went in first in really bad pain suspecting it was the appendix but they said the pain is not really in the right place to be that.

    They kept me overnight ordered a bunch of blood tests and did a chest X-ray (the f---?) and said I’m low on magnesium and hung a magnesium bag on. I’m like gr8 thanks but what about the agonising stabbing thing happening in the right side of my stomach and they said it could be kidney stones or gallbladder issues or pancreatitis. They did an ultra sound but everything looked good

    This morning they did a ct scan and immediately after the scan a surgeon comes in and says I have appendicitis and need surgery asap today.

    They prep me for surgery and this bogan 60 year old surgeon with an earring wheels me to the theatre room where they explain I might not wake up from the anaesthesia etc etc.

    Then they take me to the operating room on the operating table and make me breathe through an oxygen mask while they hook everything up. They said I’d start feeling sleepy soon. I remember thinking hmm I don’t feel sleepy at all and then immediately after that I wake up to the surgeon saying wake up mate we got your appendix out. Took me a couple of seconds to figure out who/what/where/when/why and I was like oh right I exist and that whole appendix thing happened.

    Just a moment after that though I realise I’m in even bigger pain than when my appendix was about to burst. Like holy s--- c---- put me back under and don’t wake me up until it’s healed.

    They injected me with something maybe it was morphine I’m not sure but it did make it bearable. Other than that they’re just giving me 2 endone pills every certain amount of hours and some Panadol. It’s not unbearable but it’s uncomfortable enough to make me not be able to sleep and I’m exhausted.

    I’ll tell you what though It was really nice and peaceful not existing during the anaesthesia. No life no thoughts no dreams no worries. I’m not being edgy and now that I’m awake/alive I’d rather stay that way, but it was nice getting a glimpse of nothingness/death

    The appendix has nothing to do with the windpipe

    It’s my appendix getting it removed in a few hours. They’ve given me pain meds but due to my previous abuse of oxies they aren’t doing s--- so I have to pretend I’m ok til the surgery is done
