Be sure to read the walkthrough.

A couple additionals that I'm sure would otherwise get some questions:
    • Alerts no longer clear (get marked as read) all at once when hovering over the "Alerts" dropdown. The new behavior is that they clear one at a time upon actively clicking the individual alerts (exception: if there's a quote & a like to the same post, for example, then both of those will clear upon viewing that post. same goes for if you manually jump into the thread/post where the alert applied..basically, if you view it, then it's marked as read). This will take some getting used to, but it was intentional and took a decent amount of work to make happen. The historical behavior was always broken imo -- if you have 8 new notifications and want to see at a glance what they are and/or take action on *one* of them, then you suddenly lose your reminder that you have 7 other new notifications to check out. Keep the alerts you want to follow-up on later as unread.
    • A combined alert/inbox count on mobile (top right, in place of the solid red dot) isn't there due to a native XenForo bug.
    • Yes, it's 2 clicks to get to your alerts on mobile now.
    • Yes, Statuses & Featured Albums are not currently available on mobile. Technical limitation that will take some time to work through, but didn't want to wait potentially weeks longer to get this out to you guys.
    • Night theme is coming. It shouldn't take very long, but please don't ask for a specific release date. Apologies to your retinas for the time being.
    • Known bug that I'm working through:
      • if someone new follows you, then you'll receive an alert for it (as you always would), however, that alert doesn't get marked as read when clicking on it from the new Alerts dropdown... it's another XenForo native bug that I encountered, but there's a couple workarounds:
        • click the "Mark All As Read" link found at the bottom of the Alerts dropdown (desktop only) to clear it.
        • uncheck the "New follower" option in your Alert Preferences and you won't receive that alert at all anymore. The "fix" will be to uncheck this option for everyone once I figure out the query to run.

    Don’t be a d-ck.
Dark theme was held off for a few reasons:
1.) once introducing a second theme, all code changes need to be dual-maintained. I expect a handful of bug fixes and slight adjustments this week and didn’t want to double work.
2.) I was f---ing exhausted and needed to get this out the door. Don’t underestimate just how much work this has taken. I got wrinkles n s--- now from stressing over this.
3.) Identical rollout strategy to 2.0.

People complaining about the littlest s--- ITT, kinda silly.
Good work @Slyk from a fellow developer, and from someone who made a chrome extension to change the appearance of the theme to grey-scale for myself only, I got the chance to review all of your CSS work, done very professionally and effort filled.

The thing that these people don't realize about web design in 2018 is modern, simple, and sleek are all things that must some how collide and this is not an easy merger between the dynamic, making a website responsive on every platform, while still maintaining that sleek, modern, and simple design is also something that needs to be considered. Being said, your work is done flawlessly in my opinion, I'm a strong advocate for dark themes but even the light theme was done very well, I just simply don't like them so I changed it myself.

There’s been extensive posts on this already. Feedback is welcomed, but maybe try to be more constructive and less bitchy.

@Slyk as a front end developer myself I can appreciate a lot with this update, the modern approach with still a simple and sleek design we’re so familiar with in section eighty.

Good work @Koolo and @Slyk and anyone else involved.

@Slyk I do kinda miss being able to feature actual threads rather than just upcoming album threads. I like being able to highlight stuff like @Papa Alpha Andy's Luke Null piece and the Kid Cudi piece @Altereagle416 wrote.

Or for stuff like @Sav Stanfield's new Rate This Album thread, they're doing Get Rich or Die Tryin', so at the very least if there's poppin discussion about an older album we could put an old album (in this case GROD) up as one of those featured albums?
