Nov 19, 2018 I saw the classic horror movie Candyman the other day. For those who haven't seen it, do see it as it is the best horror movie ever. For those who don't know, Candyman is a horror figure thought to be an urban legend, but everyone is scared of him. He lives through the fear, when he's whispered about it the streets. It gets a lot deeper than that, but basically, Candyman is thought to be a fable by a literary student and is the topic of her thesis about urban legends. There's a scene where a little boy tells her how another boy went to a nearby public toilet and Candyman came out of the toilet and cut his penis off. Can't seem to find better quality but it should suffice. In short, Candyman is thought to be urban legend (a fable) but he came out of the toilet and cut a d-ck off. So you see, the line is not random at all. It fits perfectly with the theme of Underground, along with another horror movie references.

It's an inoffensive line to me, there's better examples of both good and bad lines in that song, and I feel bad for those who don't enjoy this song as a fun throwback because of a few bars.

In your version, Eminem doubted Slim Shady exists while in the toilet taking a s--- instead of a piss, and suddenly Slim Shady came out of toilet to attack Eminem. That doesn't make sense. He didn't say "Slim Shady sounded like a fable to me until he jumped out of toilet while I was taking a pee". HE is slim shady, and HE is attacking YOU. Why would Eminem think Slim Shady sounds like a fable BEFORE he invented him. And why would he change taking a s--- to pee and use that stupid word "pee" in the process if s--- sounds much better?
