I honestly cant say anything else other than sorry for your loss
The pain youre going through is unimaginable, at this point I dont rly know what else to say other than to cope with the basic necessities like eat, sleep, drink water etc.
And hopefully you have someone you can personally talk to

My condolences. I lost my mother at a young age. It’s a difficult thing to get through. Just got to be strong. If you have other people around you talk with them.

I'm truly sorry for your loss man.

Can't say any more than what others said, talk to people. Don't push your feelings away, its a process you have to go through as s-----y as it is...

My sincere condolences for your loss mate. I'm not able to provide any advice as I've never been through any loss as personal as that, but I guess just reach out for help if you feel it's too overwhelming. Like a close friend or other family members. That way you can lean on them and vice versa.

    Again my condolences.

Sorry for your loss brother. My condolences.

I've never lost a parent but I am a recovering heroin addict. Whatever you do, try not to use her death as an excuse to get high. It's just gonna make everything about this situation a billion times worse. You gotta work through the emotions. It could take days, weeks, or months to get through it but I promise you it eventually gets better.

depends how close you are to her, its gonna hurt for a long time, and there is nothing you can do to fill that void..you need to accept this, the sooner you do the sooner life will have meaning for you again...and believe me, time will deal with that void when its due

So sorry for your loss man. Can't imagine how tough that is. I've lost grandparents that I was very close with but never a mother.

And don't beat yourself up about relapsing—it's a part of the recovery process. It happens. The only thing you can do is get back on the wagon today and now. Like @Buddha numbing a loss with drugs might make you feel better at the time, but in the end it's only delaying you truly processing your emotions. Good luck man!

Thank you to everyone who replied. I'm doing better now I guess. She was my best friend. Been a rough few days. She had CVID and suffered for many years. She died alone and scared and her last text messages have been haunting me. There is some speculation she might of killed herself, though I dont believe that. A common cold could k--- her as her body couldn't produce new antibodies and she was very sick at time of death. I appreciate the support guys. Thank you.

My heart goes out to you, bro. It's.not fair and it's not right. I really hate that people we cherish the most can be ripped from our grips like that. I'm here for you, bro. *Sighs* Please stay strong!!! I know it's tough. It's inherent for you though. One love! Peace!

d---, sorry for your loss man. As many others said, take things one step at a time even if it means simply eating a meal or taking a bath. As for the relapse part, you are not the first or the last to do it so don't beat yourself about it. If you go to meetings or have a sponsor it will probably help a lot with your grieving process as well. If not, I hope that you have someone close to talk to.
