i listened to that gucci mane album and had to skip every song after 30 seconds coz it just ain't for me. IMO its trash repetitive mumbling.

but I agree that Eminem will always be considered a great because of two things:
1. He used to be sensational. I was a stan. Regardless of how much trash he pumps out, he'll still have SSLP, MMLP, TES, Relapse, and Recovery under his belt.
2. He has the entire, out-of-touch, borderline/full-blown racist, "I hate rap but love Eminem. He doesn't rap about b------s, cars, and money!" crowd on lock

his legacy isn’t necessarily ruined because of those bad albums.

there are several legendary artists who have many average/poor albums in their catalog simply because they made A LOT of music

personally, I think he’ll always be regarded as one of the greats

this is not the first time the horrible "do you listen to eminem in your car" argument has been said. what a stupid logic. then again, nobody expects much from gucci mane. you're funny for thinking he can clown anyone but himself.

it's true that eminem is not a background music you can put on and forget about in the background, but that's not an argument against him. eminem demands attention, unlike gucci mane's braindead attempts

Well hold up now. Jeffrey, Thomas, Alex, and Peter all listen to Eminem in the whip. They throw on “Way I Am” and mean mug ppl on their way to McDonalds. On the way back to Jeff’s mom’s house they yell swear words at people from the car.

His music aged just fine. The difference between Em and other artists is he could make songs like these and have them be hits. Not a lot of rappers were getting heavy radio play with songs like The Way I Am or Lose Yourself.
