Randy's great, he'd fit right in. I'd put a stop to the WWE guys if that crop ends up leaving. It's just too much.
Oct 24, 2019 I definitely agree...they are so great at those personal video packages like the QT Marshall (who I've known about for years but somehow didn't know he used to actually wrestle) one and the Cody video from last week that had his mom in it. If they are impressive to hardcore fans like us they absolutely must be doing wonders for new fans and thus they need to double the amount they are currently doing. I feel this way about promos in general in AEW though. They obviously have the top tier in ring for days but they really need to have more promos in the shows. Especially when you have guys like Jericho, Cody, Kenny, and f---ing MOXLEY who has yet to do a live in ring promo after a whole month of shows...it's a little frustrating just because the promos they have had on their shows have been f---ing awesome and as fans we have been so starved for great in ring promos for years because of f---ing WWE. Even though it wasn't a straight promo segment, I really loved the back and forth/brawl with the Inner Circle vs Cody's crew from tonight..it was precise, effective, and different from anything WWE does. Things like that really stand out I definitely understand them wanting to establish the time limit draw for the new TV audience, but I don't think they should have done it in the main event match on the show. I thought it was great when they did it with Cody vs Darby at the PPV, because it elevated Darby and it was in the middle of the show. It forced the show tonight to end in really flat way, imo I think they either should have swapped spots and had Omega vs. Janela go on last and all would have been good. I really dug the match though...Mox and Pac worked f---ing great with each other.
