eh. You may not believe me, but sometimes politicians pander for votes. And sometimes their positions' views.... shift with the times. It's like holding Obama's opposition to gay marriage against him. I understand KH's record as AG is controversial, but I think context is needed - political status quo or otherwise. You might demand more from someone asking for your vote to be president, fine. But lets call it for what it is.... unless you're Grandpa Al Lewis, practically everyone up until recently running for office took pot shots..... against pot. *rim shot*

I think politicians should be allowed to change their views, lets dispense with the imaginary standards we invent after the fact. And tbh - while I'll blaze up and post under another Space Monkey alt on occasion - pot legalization isn't rly the DEFINING issue this cycle. I like that we're coming around, it's great. But the rationale should be defeating trump, not holding a half Jamaican half Indian woman's feet to the fire for managing to excel at a (largely) white man's game.
