    Both are Eminems follow up albums after a post haitus album that wasnt well received. Personally, I enjoy Recovery more. Not Afraid is one of the most iconic hip hop songs and is a defining moment in Ems career. The album also has more substance. In Ems discog, these albums are number 4 and 5, with Recovery being his 4th classic.

    I love Recovery but there's just too much weird things going on in this album.

    That You're Never Over hook is litterally worse than anything on Revival

    Recovery has a lot more personality. Gtc, your never over, talking 2 myself ... kamikaze only has stepping stone.

    But kamikaze is imo better overall. Shorter, good songs except imo good guy and maybe the title song.. and better production.

    But its close for me

    Kamikaze definitely has more pros than Recovery, and less cons tbh.

    Em actually sounds hungry again on Kamikaze...

    I'm not really a Recovery supporter anyway.

    Both garbage albums so with the poll I can’t vote. Make a both are trash option. With seduction and going through changes, I’d probably say as a project it had better songs. To where Kamikaze isn’t even listenable to me. Neither is any song off of Recovery currently, but I did listen to those few songs off and on when it first dropped. Wish people wouldn’t have bitched about relapse. I think he was heading in the right direction with relapse 2 and using his normal voice like on the cocaine leaked song. Instead, he went the full pop route ever since. And other than the Eminem show being mainly a pop album, the current Eminem is horrible making current pop music that people currently enjoy. The numbers with revival proved it.

    Id rather have an acapella album of puns and corny lines than I would have another album woth need me in it

    Revival is full of Ems worst moments

    I wish I could say more, but my broken f---in english is wack.

    Recovery is Em's 4th classic, it is. After 4-5 year hiatus he came back with an album that was so different than his previous work, more mature, more self-aware... Relapse was ok, but Recovery was something else, like Marshall Mathers grown up and was ready to tell his f---in story.

    I agree. I still listen to Recovery sometimes. Never gets old.

    Only in the sense that the production and punchlines were already dated when it dropped.

    Production was great. Just Blaze, Dr. Dre, DJ Khalil, Boi-1da etc. About the punchlines you are probably right I guess he was heavily influenced by Lil Wayne at that time lol
    But overall the album is great. Strong tracks. Space Bound, Not Afraid, Going Through Changes, Talkin 2 Myself, Cold Wind Blows and others...

    Recovery’s highs are higher if you ask me... No Love, Seduction, GTC, Talkin 2 Myself, etc.

    His rapping on Kamikaze is better tho and there’s less skips left tracks like WTP...

    I lean Recovery tho.
