If I had to pick one song as my favorite, it’s Onion Head.

But I have a long list of songs I love. Sean P is probably my favorite rapper of all time.

I loved and still love the first 2 Heltah Skeltah albums but I really started f---ing with Decepticon Sean when he dropped Monkey Barz.

Posted about this the other day but Sean P is a big part of why I’m into rap today. Rising to the Top is one of the first hip hop songs I can recall hearing, my brother had it on a cassette tape and I was obsessed with it. 6 year old Winter knew every word, even if I didn’t know what they meant.

Was just playing some Upscaled and Remastered Version of GTA 3 on my PS4 and that song came on, a little earlier. The memories of me being 11 and slashing so much opposition with that song playing in the background, after getting out of bad a--- Barbour Magnet Middle School and finishing my homework from there. Fond memories indeed.

Huge fan, never formally met him but I did see him in concert various times. Last time I saw him alive in person was Your Old Droog’s debut concert. It was a sad day when he passed. I remember his death was right after Pumpkinhead’s death, another respected Indie rapper. He was the face of Duck Down Records, more so than Buckshot.
