    It's coming out in the Summer because it was originally supposed to release on August 9, 2019. The 50th anniversary of the Tate Murders. However, some people didn't like that so Sony bumped it a few weeks.


    With that said I felt that Tarentino's letter pleading to not spoil this film was a spoiler in itself. I really hope they don't Inglorious Basterdize this movie. Like I REALLY don't want that to happen but I don't know why else he'd put that out there

    Lots are saying there’s no plot or any purpose for the first two acts but I actually thought it was refreshing to not have the plot forced down my throat like most movies out of Hollywood today. The story was about Rick and his career that’s in need of a jumpstart which is prevalent throughout the film including the end when he becomes friends with Sharon a rising Hollywood star who happens to be married to the most sought after director at the time.

    Not one of his best films but better than Death Proof. Once I heard that the Tate family was onboard with this movie, I figured something was up. I think the best way to view this is as a fairy tale (hence the title). The protagonist is struggling in life but he's got the best wingman on the planet who does all his errands, instills hope and saves the day. And in the end, everything goes his way. Kind of a weak script but the cast does a good job of making it work to some degree. Soundtrack is incredible. 7/10

    Yeah I went with some friends and half of them knew it and half didn’t. The half that didn’t hated the movie while the rest of us loved it

    I never knew the real story to this, it made the movie so much better (it was already great)

    saw this yesterday. I liked it, but it didn’t blow me away like many of his previous films. To me, the ending was one of the best parts of the film. I think Brad and Leo had good chemistry as well, but I didn’t come away from this movie thinking it’s one of his best films. Quentin has said himself that he doesn’t think directors are good when they’re old. In other words, the quality of their work tends to decrease once they’re late in their career. I think this is part of the reason why he plans to make only one more movie

    Hacksaw Ridge - November 4th

    So, in conclusion, I'll give you Dunkirk. I'm going to argue against myself and point out the obvious. I'm right, except for when it comes to Nolan and Tarantino. They make great Oscar movies that are also summer blockbusters. I think that combo is incredibly rare.
