    d---, I miss these n----s.

Coke Boys was supposed to be the next wave in New York. They pretty much fell apart after the 3rd mixtape. I'm gonna go over most of the members besides Droop and Brock.

    French Montana

Alright, I'm gonna make a statement here.

I actually like French Montana. Everything from French Revolution to Casino Life 2 was considered solid projects. French's most definitive projects, as bad as that sounds, are Mac & Cheese 2, Coke Wave 1 & 2, Mister 16 & Laundry Man. But what really seperates French from others, is his beat selection. French has possibly the best producers for his beats. Harry Fraud, Big Byrd, Dame Grease, and others. French is possibly the second worst Coke Boy after Charlie Rock. And speaking of Charlie.

    Charlie Rock

Where the f--- has he been. Ever since that whack a--- diss dropped, Charlie has been MIA since. The only compliment I can give to him, is that he killed the Shot Caller hook. That's pretty much it.

    Chinx Drugz

The second most popular Coke Boy and the best one imo, Chinx consistently dropped classic mixtapes, the Hurry Up & Die Trilogy, Cocaine Riot, & Filght 2011. Chinx was a member of Riot Squad before Stack Bundles was killed, French would get a hold to him in 2009 on a song on the 2nd Hurry Up & Die tape.

Unfortunately, all great things must come to an end. Chinx was later killed on May 17, 2015 in Queens. Squad Up. RIP

    Cheeze

The third best Coke Boy, Cheeze was supposed to make it big, the same as Flip. Features on the Coke Boys tapes, it was going well. IDK entirety what happened, but French's ego probably got the best of him, and though Chinx was the only Coke Boy around. He still makes music, not as much as he used to.

    Flip

Flip got f---ing screwed hard. The second best Coke Boy and my former favorite, like Chinx, Flip had an unfortunate event that ruined his career, a drug bust in 2014 landed him in prison, which he most likely still is in. Which is a d--- shame, because this guy was good. d--- good. His mixtape, f--- Love I'm Paid, is pretty good.

(I don't really want to talk about Max B, and Durk.)

French needs a Coke Boys 5 but thats never likely to happen. Well, maybe until Max B gets out. Then there might be a Coke Wave 3 hopefully.

The wave been done, but the legacy is far from dead. To me at least.

Chinx was so cold. Anyone brought up under Rayquon Elliot is bound to be a beast. They took homey far too soon. Both of 'em would have brought NY Rap back with Max on every hook. Stack Bundles' first official release would have changed the game. I listen to Tunnel Vision almost religiously. French is rarely that good.

That first Coke Boys mixtape :banderas: had some of the most glorious Harry Fraud beats that dude ever concocted. I can't remember what happened with Cheeze in the later projects but it was weird that he wasn't involved as much.

I was excited for French's rise after Max got locked up since we were pretty dry here in NY as far as stars go (although there was still Rocky & Nicki). These songs got me all nostalgic phew

It was mainly those three before Durk decided to tag along. Either that or Cheeze was in jail the same time Flip was, could explain the lack of Cheeze features in CB4.

    Likewise, they still k---.

Chinx was the one man, I have no doubt Stack Bundles would have blended in seamlessly with them. Cheeze was nice with it too, Idk if he might have been as big as the other two. So many amazing songs between them, always had some nice interplay and momentum with each verse:

    always got my back :jaydaps:

Holy s--- I had no idea Durk came up with these guys. I've been French since he debuted on MMG but never listened to his older s---. I know I need to check out the first Coke Wave tape.

i went on a heavy Max B run recently, still got Domain Pain in heavy rotation. He's so underappreciated, he's kinda like to NY what Gucci is ATL.

I'll check out the Coke Boys tapes and Flip and Chinx's solo s---.

Don't forget about the n----- Byg Byrd. When that tag comes up, already know it's gonna be hot. He's sorta like Fraud with the use of samples. Tellin you French got the best producers.

    Already know

    Flip's f--- Love I'm Paid

Chinx- Any of the Cocaine Riots, Flight 2011, Welcome To JFK & Hurry Up & Die 3

    Already mentioned French's best s---.

Can't go wrong with any Max B tape, but any of the Million Dollar Babies, Gaine Green Takeover and Wavie Crockett are essentials.

For a compilation for all of them, cant go wrong with Coke Boys 1-3 and The Tour.
