So we're officially 1 quarter of the way through 2019. It's been quiet but there's been some dope s--- thats dropped over the past 3 months

    1. Future - The WIZRD
This may be my favorite and most heavily played Future project since DS2. It captures everything Future's done up to this point in his career in quick, short bursts and ties it all together in what is essentially a perfect summation of who and what Future is all about. I think I could easily point this album to anyone interested in getting into Future.

    2. Lucki - Freewave 3
I haven't listened to Lucki since he first came out back in 2013 and was taken aback by how dark and sinister this project is. It almost feels like the hangover following the drill era. I really need to go back and listen to Lucki's previous s--- I've missed out on.

    3. Lil Pump - Harverd Dropout
Plain, stupid fun. Perfect gym music. Pretty much exactly what I was expecting and what I wanted from Pump at this point.

    4. Da Baby - Baby on Baby
Love the energy, the brashness, the hilarity. Very interested to see where DaBaby's career goes from here. This was excellent all the way through.

    5. Sada Baby - Bartier Bounty
Its about time Detroit's newer generation started getting some shine. Could do with some trimming but this is a great introduction.

Some other projects I've enjoyed this year so far

YNW Melly - We All Shine
    Boogie - Everythings for Sale
    Offset - Father of 4
2 Chainz - Rap or Go to the League
Gunna - Drip or Drown 2
Juice WRLD - Deathrace for Love
    Night Lovell - GOODNIGHT LOVELL
Mach Hommy x DJ Muggs - Tuez-les Tous
Chief Keef x Zaytoven - GloToven
    Maxo - Lil Big Man
    Quelle Chris - Guns
Lil Gotit - Crazy But Its True
    T-Pain - 1-UP
Thouxanbanfauni & UnoTheActivist - For Christ Sake 2
    G Herbo x Southside - Still Swervin
    Wiz Khalifa x Curren$y - 2009

    whats your list?

Marvin Gaye - You're the Man

Aware that the songs were from the 70s and have been released in some capacity on compilations and s--- since his death, but to hear the collection of songs as 'almost' intended is nice.

Quelle Chris - Guns 5/5 - Amazing album from start to finish
Choosey x Exile - The Black Beans LP 5/5 - Highly recommended
Elaquent - Blessing in Disguise 4.5/5 - one of the best Instrumental albums released in the past 5 years. Highly recommended.
The Lasso - The Sound of Lasso 4/5 - Another great Instrumental project from a true Composer, I recommend this one as well
Yelawolf - Trunk Muzik 3 3.5/5 - Not what I was expecting after hearing all of those "freestyles" leading up to it, but it's good nonetheless, just disappointing.

Only s--- worth remembering this year has been

The Wzrd - top 3 future project tbh
Rap or go to the league - this kind of got boring pretty quickly though.

Very slow start to the year.
