I've been off Tech's music for the better part of a decade now but pleasantly surprised by this. Might be his best outing since All 6's & 7s imo. It sounds like he's actually having a bit of fun again and not taking himself so seriously (the title track sounds like something that could have been on Everready). The album length thing is so f---ing annoying though, there's still way too much filler. His entire discography is 60% filler at this point.

Tech's output has been very up and down (more down than up) but he's got some gems in his catalog. And as corny as he may be you can't deny his flow is probably one of the best of all time, right up there with the Pun, Bone Thugs, etc. Even all these newer lyrical spiritual Joyner Lucas/Hopsin types don't have the same ability to ride a beat anywhere near as well as Tech. He's a natural. And despite the fact that his writing can be very, very bad, sometimes its just fun to listen to him go ballistic with the syllables. His beat selection is usually on point too.

Idk if its just nostalgia but Everready was goat. If you're interested in getting into Tech, I highly recommend checking it out, just dumb, high energy fun s---. Misery Loves Kompany was a solid label compilation before they started getting overwhelmingly corny. His biggest commercial success so far was All 6's & 7's, which was also alright but like all his albums it suffers from a crazy high volume of filler. Some great music on there too though. The songs you mentioned were from his debut AngHellic which is actually also pretty good if you're looking for a more old school sound.

haven't liked the recent Tech stuff I've heard, certain albums I haven't even listened to..but I'm enjoying this one so far, haven't finished it yet but I like n9na and like i ain't at least. I sort of like sink, it sounds really good for sure but not digging Tech's verses as much as I want to..

On a unique note, as a huge Pac fan I love that there's a few mentions of him on here.. 'now i'm zonin' bumpin Makaveli...' :blunt:

Only a very few songs are good, the rest is meh. "Planet" is much better.
