I don't think his music is even remotely good enough to be in the GOAT discussion. He's a superstar and he has some hits, but if we were to rank every rapper, Drake wouldn't see the top hundred.
If you’re judging by discography, no. If you’re looking at impact, yes. Drake may not have the discography of Kendrick but his music is unavoidable. It’s cemented its place in time. When people look back at hip-hop in the early 2000s they think of “i need a girl pt. 2” or “In Da Club.” That’s how drake’s music will be remembered — as a cornerstone of an era. You could argue that makes him more so a legend than a great; I wouldn’t argue with that either.
