    wayne's discography is so diverse and expansive that it's difficult to compile such a short list that covers everything but i tried anyway (shouts out @Slyk for combing through his itunes and helping me lol)

    also: I did not give it this title because I wasn't necessarily writing for best so much as diverse (though at times they overlap), but you know clickbait n all

    Speaking of lists: I don't think I ever posted it here but a few months back I also made a list that shows the history of rap songs that evoke country/cowboy culture and sound (this was b4 billy ray even hopped on old town road). This one took me a long time to narrow down and even then there are some obvious ones I should have put on (I cut bubba sparxx for some reason and I cut yelawolf because he sucks and I didn't want to listen to yelawolf albums to find the best example to use).

    But as much as people s--- on the listicle (and for good reason since tons of them are super lazy), they are fun to generate discussion cuz sometimes the writer introduces the audience to new songs and sometimes the audience lets the writer know about songs they missed and they discover new s--- too.

    But ya I'm also less familiar with Wayne's pre-Carter stuff so nothing jumped out at me immediately, and most of his experimentation started in the mid-2000s and beyond.

    Dude has like 204058 songs its impossible to include all of them lol. But yeah Tha Blues is a great addition to that list.

    Yeah, I told them about the error but they never fixed it :emoji_slight_frown:

    I figure a bloggy site like this moves so fast that they don't really have the manpower to fix errors in older articles, cuz once they're off the front page/the tweet of the article gets buried it's not getting a ton of traffic anymore anyway
