A place to talk about the most (read: only) exciting crew in US Hip Hop. Benny the Butcher and Conway the Machine are two of the best out rn in terms of consistency. I'm not really feeling Westside Gunn's solo stuff but he's alright in small doses/guest verses. .38 Spesh and Che Noir are beasts and they need to blow up in 2020. My favourite Griselda (and Griselda-related) projects:

    38 Spesh & Benny the Butcher - Stabbed & Shot (2018)
    38 Spesh - The 38 Strategies of Raw (2019)
38 Spesh & Big Ghost Ltd. - A Bullet for Every Heathen (2019)
Benny the Butcher - Butcher on Steroids (2017)
Benny the Butcher - A Friend of Ours (2018)
Benny the Butcher - Tana Talk 3 (2018)
Benny the Butcher - The Plugs I Met (2019)
    Conway the Machine - G.O.A.T. (2017)
    Conway the Machine - Everybody Is F.O.O.D. 2: Eat What U k--- (2018)

Griselda albums set to drop in 2020
    38 Spesh & Benny the Butcher - T.B.A.
Benny the Butcher - Tana Talk 4
Conway the Machine - God Don’t Make Mistakes
Westside Gunn - Hitler Wears Hermes 8
    Westside Gunn - FLYGOD2
    Westside Gunn & Madlib - T.B.A.

Why is WSG the most well-known on Griselda? Why was he the first to blow up? I've been out the loop, only discovered Griselda about 18 months ago.

Νice, I love this guys recently they re all I listen too.
WSG basically founded griselda and overall is the best for me cause the aesthetics he puts on all of their albums are unmatched.
He is basically responsible for most of the dopeness we have from all of them.
His tracks vibe with a dark comedy that appeals to me a lot. And his releases all have a great flow of tracks and moods. He can be funny and light while he is talking about super dark s---. Benny is a great writer but his flow is more intense. Conway has really clever moments and brevity, but his albums also lag, stop and stutter.

    So I'd say:
    Conway for the grime
    Benny for the dope raps
WSG for the combo and the straight BARS

Interesting...I don't like his delivery anywhere near as much as Conway and Benny which makes it more difficult for me to get into his bars. I'll give him another go though. Any particular album you recommend? When it comes to WSG I've only checked out Supreme Blientele, Hitler Wears Hermes 5 and the EP with Mr. Green. He's got a dope beat selection I'll give him that.

    Definitely HWH 2, 4 and 7.
Also Flygod is considered one of his best projects.

And definitely check Hall N Nash with Conway.

Also Freddie Gibbs mentioned in his interview with Joe Budden that he's working on a project with Benny : )
