What I love is while swimming was about pulling yourself out of the water instead of succumbing and drowning, the overall feel is pretty depressing. Circles is so much more optimistic and positive and at this point in my life, so am I. This resonates and hits so hard, we couldn't have gotten a better final project from Mac

Such a beautiful album... I unfortunately didn’t make it to the listening session but I absolutely love this work of art. It’s taken me a little bit for the album to really set in. Instant classic. RIP my man Mac

It's an contemplative journey anytime I decide to sit through and play this. Very few posthumous albums ever get handled with such care, it's amazing they managed to salvage whatever Mac was close to completing.

Mac has been growing more as a song-writer with every passing year, it came to no surprise to me that he was dabbling into singing more. I've been used to Mos Def & Max B singing off key so it never bothered me to hear Mac's voice, if anything it communicated his innermost emotion even more so.

Altogether this is an album I'll long cherish for the rest of my life, this dude's music tugs your soul like few other people do.

There are so many posthumous albums that feel so fabricated and trying to add artists for sales etc.

This is a real album that feels like one. Beautiful and sad at the same time..

Finally gave this a spin for the first time last night, early but feels like a classic album, hard to define it.. Sounds like psychedelic R&B and Rock. He's an amazing song writer.
There's not much rapping on this tbh, but it's great. It's quite similar to Swimming

This album has been on repeat for days now.. Swimming was a great album front to back, and it's still so meaningful to me. That said, Circles is a masterpiece. An album that will be played for years to come, it feels so timeless
